Ambler Coal Company offers the following fuel oil delivery options in Montgomery County (PA) and Bucks County (PA).
Customer is responsible for calling when oil is needed. There is a 150 gallon minimum order, and payment is due at time of delivery. MasterCard, Visa and AMEX are accepted. There is an additional charge if the oil burner has to be started.
Based upon a computerized automatic delivery service. This service relieves the customer of the responsibility of watching the tank gauge. The account must be current to take advantage of this service.
The prepayment plans allow Automatic Delivery customers to Fix or Cap their fuel oil pricing by paying in advance. These plans are typically available in late summer (while supplies last) for the upcoming heating season.
This program is based on the estimated usage for the year. Using this system, we set up the customer with 11 monthly payments. The Budget Program typically runs from August to June of each year.
Ambler Coal also works closely with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to help customers in need of energy assistance. LIHEAP is a federally funded program that provides support to low-income households for utility bill payments. Federal funds are distributed to each state and the individual states then administer the program and distribute the funds. LIHEAP pays partial energy bills for eligible families. The program provides support on a first come-first serve basis, so it is important to apply as early as possible because some states do not provide support once their federal funding has run out.
